Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. I earned my MSW in 2007 and have worked in Maine and New Hampshire across school-based, home-based, and private practice settings. I bring an energetic, compassionate, and child-focused approach to therapy, helping clients better understand themselves through a neuroscience-informed lens. I especially enjoy helping children and teens understand how their brains, emotions, and behaviors connect so they can build confidence and develop lifelong skills.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe meaningful progress happens when clients feel understood, accepted, and actively involved in the process. I incorporate evidence-based strategies, including cognitive behavioral approaches, nervous system education, and neuroscience-informed techniques to help clients build self-awareness and coping skills. With children and adolescents, I often use creativity, curiosity, and experiential learning to make therapy engaging and effective.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on building connection, understanding what brings you or your child to therapy, and identifying goals for treatment. I strive to create a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves and sharing at their own pace. Together, we will explore strengths, challenges, and practical tools to support emotional growth, confidence, and resilience.
