Great to meet you!

We all have times in our lives that feel overwhelming! In order to find steadiness, we have to learn to practice caring for ourselves. I can help you develop a more trusting relationship with yourself & start feeling better.

Through our work together, you will learn to understand yourself better, feel sturdiness in stressful moments, cope more effectively with depression or anxiety, & let go of behaviors that aren’t serving you. All people & relationship structures are welcome in my practice!

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is a blend of relational and practical work, and my style is encouraging, direct, and compassion-focused. I specialize in working with people who have had trauma in their lives, whether in childhood, within a relationship, or due to prolonged stress or an isolated experience. I also love working with young adults, the stress of life transitions, the transition to parenthood, anxiety, empty nesters, and those impacted by family/partner's addictions.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal is to help you know, understand, and take good care of yourself. I place an emphasis on helping to build self-esteem, self-compassion, and will support you in finding and utilizing practical coping skills that make sense in your life. You will leave each session with a strategy or skill to practice, or an idea to reflect on in between sessions. I look forward to connecting with you!
