Great to meet you!

We all have times in our lives that feel particularly overwhelming. Sometimes relationship or parenting struggles can bring up past trauma memories that you haven’t talked about or don’t quite feel resolved. In these situations, having strong reactions or emotions that are hard to manage is natural and very understandable. To find steadiness in ourselves, we have to learn to practice caring for ourselves. I can help you develop a stronger and more trusting relationship with yourself and start feeling better.

I help people struggling with relationships, regulation, self-worth , and the impact of addiction because of past trauma. I also offer practical support in learning DBT-informed coping skills, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction strategies. All relationship structures are welcome in my practice.

With fifteen years of trauma-informed experience, I've seen this process work for a lot of people. By building a safe and supportive relationship in therapy, you can reconnect to yourself and see change happen in your life.

My approach to therapy

My style is encouraging, direct, and compassion-focused. I specialize in working with people who have had trauma in their lives, whether in childhood, within a relationship, or due to prolonged stress or an isolated experience. I also love working with young adults, the stress of life transitions, anxiety, and those impacted by family/partner's addictions.

Reach out if you struggle with self-esteem, boundaries in relationships, or difficult memories of a traumatic childhood. My goal is to help you know, understand, and take good care of yourself.

What you can expect from me

Through our work together, you will learn to understand yourself better, feel sturdiness in stressful or chaotic moments, cope more effectively with depression or anxiety, and let go of beliefs, behaviors, or relationship dynamics that aren’t serving you. I also place an emphasis on finding practical coping skills that make sense in your life.

I’m committed to helping you heal and move forward. Please feel free to reach out for a consultation!
