Tania is currently serving adults for individual therapy via telehealth. Tania has over 15 years of experience in providing counseling services to diverse populations. She earned a BSW, BA in Psychology, and MSW from the University of South Florida.
Tania’s treatment modality styles are primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. She is also experienced in implementing these modalities within a trauma-centered and/or faith-based approach. Tania specializes in treating a wide range of diagnostic and psychosocial concerns, including the following: depression, anxiety, trauma, work related stress, spirituality, racial issues, and interpersonal stress.
Tania's focus during the initial session is rapport building and gathering subjective information from the client regarding their history and symptoms. This allows Tania to develop a comprehensive diagnostic assessment. Tania will also ask clients about their thoughts on treatment goals, but it's completely acceptable for treatment plans to be developed over the course of the first few sessions to allow time for therapeutic rapport building.
