She has a strong background in acute settings such as Psychiatric Hospitals, Emergency Departments, ICUs and Trauma Center. Her expertise also expands to the First and Secondary Responder community.

My approach to therapy

Tara brings an integrated approach to mental health. The body’s neurophysiological response is at the heart of her practice. She works with adults and couples to understand the connection between stress and trauma, the body’s autonomic nervous system and how it affects behavior. More importantly, how to heal. Specialized interventions such as EMDR, NET in addition to cognitive behavioral therapy, Polyvagal therapy and solution focused therapy modalities are incorporated into her practice.

What you can expect from me

Different approach to therapy. More based in basic biology and how it affects behavior, thoughts and feelings.
