Great to meet you!

Hi there. I am licensed clinical social worker who has been working in the mental health field in different capacities since getting my MSW in 1993. I have worked with children, adolescents and more recently doing psychiatric rehabilitation with adults with mental illness. I took off time to raise my three children and now am back to working full-time as a therapist in private practice. I have extensive experience with DBT and enjoy working with older children, adolescents and adults.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as a way to build new understanding of yourself and how you can move through life more effectively and more according to your own values. We develop ways of being in the world that may have served us for a reason but this may no longer be the case. Therapy can help us make those important shifts.

What you can expect from me

I would like clients to take away greater understanding of themselves and their families as well as concrete skills that can help them to make shifts in their lives in order to meet whatever life goals they would like to achieve.
