Great to meet you!

Hi my name is Tiffany and I am proud New Mexican, born and raised in Santa Fe and a current resident of Albuquerque since 2006. I hold a solid academic and research background as a McNair Scholar, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a dual master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from the University of New Mexico.

As a highly qualified and practiced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I’ve been practicing for 9 years, Working with adults and adolescents, children and families with a wide variety of mental health issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, and managing the effects of trauma.

My approach to therapy

Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey. It’s important to me that we communicate openly and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way. Utilizing a person Centered and strengths-based approach including Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and Life Skills.

What you can expect from me

I believe in an open and honest approach to therapy. To begin, I always offer an introductory session, which provides an opportunity for you to share your story and discuss what you hope to gain from therapy. We can then collaborate to clarify these objectives.

My aim is to cultivate a warm and welcoming environment where you feel at ease sharing openly and vulnerably, while also feeling secure and supported. In the subsequent sessions, we will work together to help you achieve your identified goals.
