Great to meet you!

I have been a Licensed Mental Health Clinician since 2011. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English, with a concentration in Human Rights and Political Studies. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and am also certified to treat disordered gambling. I have delivered specialized training to law enforcement professionals on assessing mental health symptoms in minority populations. I am trained in Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) and work with individuals, couples, and families. I currently provide outpatient psychotherapy via telehealth.

My approach to therapy

Care extends beyond addressing physical and emotional needs; it involves supporting the whole person across all stages of development, including early childhood. This holistic approach encompasses the development of interests and hobbies, community engagement, utilization of social supports and spiritual resources, and the cultivation of healthy self-expression. It also includes support for academic and/or vocational functioning, management of health needs, and the establishment and maintenance of healthy interpersonal relationships. From a clinical perspective, this work includes strengthening couple and family systems by enhancing communication patterns, emotional attunement, boundaries, and relational resilience to support sustained psychological well-being across the lifespan.

What you can expect from me

A measurable, strength-based treatment plan that outlines clear and realistic goals based on a mutually agreed upon time frame will be created and periodically monitored for progress and efficacy. I will utilize my therapeutic and behavior modification skills to successfully promote individual growth in a counseling atmosphere. I demonstrate the importance of professionalism, patience, energy, and understanding to ensure alignment, comfort, and trust which will encourage goal acquisition.
