Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, hold a master's degree in Professional Counseling and a Certified Parent Educator. I specialize in individual and family counseling and have a strong background in anger and stress management. I've worked with a broad spectrum of clients including victims of abuse, divorced/blended families, postpartum depression, behavioral problems, and challenging teens.

My approach to therapy

My approach is Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused. I will encourage you to look at how your thoughts influence your behavior. “How a man thinks in his heart, so is he”. I have worked several years at Plano Independent School District as a Districtwide Parent Educator/Counselor, helping to guide parents and their children toward creating healthy selves which translates into a more harmonious environment and better relationships.

What you can expect from me

I believe that any struggle we choose to address in therapy, is an opportunity to reframe the struggle. It as an opportunity for elevation and growth. In reframing the struggle, it is my hope to help lead you to some powerful insight about yourself and your life . But then I want to help you take that insight, into the practice of new thoughts and behaviors, and then you can obtain the transformation you seek.
