Great to meet you!

I am an LMHC who got into counseling to provide a safe space for people who experience trauma. I take a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental approach to therapy. My role is to support and guide you—not to judge or ‘fix’ you. I may gently challenge you at times, but always with your goals in mind. Everything you share is confidential, with a few legal exceptions that we’ll review together. Therapy works best when you feel safe, honest, and engaged—and we’ll work together to build that space.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself without judgment. My approach is trauma-informed and focused on both understanding your experiences and giving you real tools you can use in everyday life. I often use CBT and DBT strategies to help with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and relationship challenges. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build coping skills, and work toward changes that actually feel doable and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but your first session is really just a conversation. We’ll take time to get to know each other, talk about what’s bringing you in, and explore what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. I may ask questions about your background, current challenges, and any patterns you’ve noticed, but there’s no pressure to share everything right away—we’ll go at your pace. We will also talk about how I work, and begin identifying goals for our work together. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of next steps.
