Great to meet you!

Hey, my name is Alli! I consider myself to be a grounded individual who understands the human experience and just how painful it is at times. However, I have complete trust in my clients' ability to heal themselves & build a more satisfying life with proper support. I do not believe in a cold & detached professional relationship with my clients. I practice professional immediacy, meaning I will interact with you & your story in a healing manner as we explore your life together.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am a believer in the human experience and normalizing the suffering that is a part of that experience. I do not take a pathological approach to individuals' mental health. I believe you will suffer within your lifetime and that we can work together to build your capacity for resilience. Currently, I am able to provide trauma relief therapy via the modality of Somatic Experiencing which utilized CNS regulation. I also utilize ACT, Experiential therapy, CBT, person-centered therapy & CCPT.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to learn how to regulate their CNS through the use of coping strategies, mindfulness & psycho education. Combining the modalities of ACT & SE allows clients & me to work together to identify values, defuse from negative inner experiences & commit to creating a more sustainable & value-driven life through sensations, images, behaviors, emotions & meanings. Together we will define concerns, treatment goals & objectives to maximize the effectiveness of therapy.
