Great to meet you!

As a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience in individual and community services, I enjoy working with a variety of folks with a variety of experiences & backgrounds. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating the complex aftermath of religious and spiritual trauma, purity culture, and other high-control environments. My approach is particularly attuned to the nuanced ways these experiences shape our relationship with ourselves and others.

My approach to therapy

Our work together begins with understanding what you want for yourself. From this foundation of agency, we use curiosity and compassionate inquiry to explore what stands between you and your authentic desires.

My clinical home is the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), specifically designed for resolving complex trauma and developmental wounding. This depth-oriented framework allows us to address not just what happened to you, but how those experiences shaped your identity and the ways you cope. I integrate other approaches when beneficial, including EMDR for processing specific traumatic memories, ACT for increasing psychological flexibility rooted in core values, and the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) for building nervous system regulation skills.

What you can expect from me

Clients describe me as both warm and direct, creating a space where transformation becomes possible without overwhelming your system. Our therapeutic journey isn't about pathologizing your survival strategies—it's about honoring their wisdom while building capacity for new possibilities. Clients share that our work helps them feel "at home in themselves" for perhaps the first time—developing a relationship with themselves characterized by curiosity rather than criticism, flexibility rather than rigidity, and agency rather than submission to internalized external authority.
