Great to meet you!

My name is Amy Conley and for the past 25 years, I have had the privilege of assisting individuals in developing the skills needed to work through various issues that are currently preventing them from moving forward. I received a Masters of Education in Counseling & Human Development from Hardin-Simmons University in 1997. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a variety of techniques from cognitive/behavioral therapy to assist individuals in identifying and altering negative thought and behavior patterns that have interfered with their success. I hold firmly to Victor Frankl’s belief that “Life is 10% of what happens to us, and 90% of how we react to it.” As one who has been blind since birth, I believe that our perspective greatly impacts our ability to work through and find meaning in difficult circumstances and to become more resilient.

What you can expect from me

I hope to empower clients with practical tools for addressing current stressors.
