Amy Glover

Hello,I'm Amy Glover. I have worked with individuals & a myriad of life issues, including trauma, grief, depression, & anxiety. Education includes Dallas Baptist University & the Counseling Program at Mid America Christian University with training at The Children's Advocacy Center of Denton County & private practice, where I worked with teens & young adults impacted by trauma. Theological training includes The Village Institute's Training Program, a year long seminary style discipleship program.

I have a heart and passion for helping teens and parents navigate the adolescent years. The adolescent years are no doubt challenging for both parent and child; but they are also a time of great opportunity. My approach to therapy includes building relationship and using an eclectic approach including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma informed approaches.

My hope is clients leave sessions encouraged and challenged toward taking healthy and effective steps toward healing.
