As a client centered therapist, my goal is to meet every person wherever they are uniquely. For 10 years, I've worked primarily with children! With a background in child development and training in infant/toddler mental health, I specialize in supporting families through complex life circumstances. Additionally, I work closely with individuals who have sexual issues - from abuse to addiction, I seek to provide empathy and understanding in these areas.
I work primarily with people who struggle with sexual trauma and addiction. That work can start at any age, at 4 or 84. Both of these areas can affect someone for a lifetime, but my goal is to provide the support necessary to get unstuck and move forward. Trauma work takes time, but my ultimate goal is to put myself out of a job.
Ultimately, I believe healing happens in the context of relationships with people who STAY. That can start in the therapy office, then move into every day relationships. I'd feel honored to be a small part of your journey!
