Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Ben and welcome to my page. I’m someone who values genuine connection in a time when it's easy to feel disconnected. I enjoy music, animals, nature, sports, and learning. I try my best to tie this in to the work that I do.

My approach to therapy

It's important that I make my clients feel that we are both equals. While I recognize my role is to provide professional guidance and support, I recognize we are both humans in this world. My work as a Gestalt therapist, I focus on being fully present with clients, exploring their here-and-now experiences with curiosity and authenticity. As DBT therapist, I collaborate with clients to develop the skills and strategies that help them stay grounded, balanced, and in control

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be based on establishing a connection and trust. My hope that our first session feels like a conversation and not an interrogation. I recognize how difficult it can be to open up to new people open the hardest parts of your life and therefore honor our connection as well as potential hesitancies you may feel.
