I have 25 years of experience working in-patient and out-patient treatment. I have worked with individuals with general mood disorders and addiction. I also use group therapy to connect others with similar issues to enable connections that the clients may not otherwise have. I believe that my clients prefer the warm, comfortable style that I use.

I am a Trauma informed, EMDR trained licensed therapist. I work with a diverse range of teen as well as adult individual clients. Embarking into therapy takes courage and I am inspired by my clients everyday. I'm Dr. Pascual Chen, a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder of Clarity Psychological Services in Wexford, PA. For over a decade, I've had the privilege of walking with individuals, couples, and families through life's hardest seasons — anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, and the search for meaning and direction.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Wheaton College in Illinois, and my Master of Science and Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from Hofstra University in New York. I'm also a certified trauma therapist and a certified school psychologist in Pennsylvania.
My approach is integrative and evidence-based. I draw from, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), emotionally-focused therapy (EFT), solution-focused therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples — always tailored to the person in front of me. For clients who want it, I also offer faith-integrated Christian counseling, weaving prayer, Scripture, and a Christian understanding of healing alongside proven clinical care. It's always available, never imposed.
More than anything, I believe healing begins with feeling understood. My goal is to bring you hope, insight, and practical steps toward the life you were created to live.
Hello! My name is Kimberly or you can call me Kim. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 8+ years of experience in counseling and therapy. I enjoy working with teens and young adults, as well as anyone who is open to making changes in their life. I am strengths-based and solution-focused.
Hello there!
Reaching out can feel overwhelming, especially when you're already carrying a lot. My first priority is creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and respected. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and move toward the life you want to live. I work with adolescents and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life stressors, and I strive to bring authenticity, curiosity, and practical support to every session.
I grew up in rural PA working on my grandfather's potato farm, learning equine therapy benefits starting at age eight. I joined the food industry as a waitress and worked throughout my RN undergrad.
I began my nursing career after earning my BSN from IUP in 2015, stepping directly into the fast‐paced world of behavioral health care within emergency room settings. Those early years shaped my clinical foundation and deepened my commitment to supporting individuals who have experienced trauma. I continued to grow, learning medicine, therapeutic communications skills, de-escalation techniques while working inpatient contracts at various facilities across PA, including child and adolescent units, adult and geriatric units, and correctional facility contracts.
Driven to expand efficient care through impact, I completed my MSN as a Psychiatric‐Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in November 2024. I initially provided inpatient hospital care, gaining valuable experiences in a new psychiatric treatment facility. As my career and family needs evolved, I discovered that remote psychiatric care offered the balance and flexibility that best supported both my professional goals and home life balance. My passion for farms, animals, and my large blended and busy family will help my clients see why I enjoy offering them a decade of behavioral health experience. With my advanced PMHNP training, I will deliver compassionate, accessible mental health support in a comfortable virtual setting.
