Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Beth, I’m a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I'm a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and EMDR Trained provider who works with teens, young adults, and adults navigating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, traumatic stress, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, relationship concerns, identity development, and life transitions. I am committed to providing an affirming, inclusive space for individuals of all identities.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma informed, conversational, grounded in evidence-based practice and cultural humility. But more than that, therapy with me is intentional. We will identify patterns that keep you stuck, introduce habits that gently shift those patterns, build practical tools to regulate your nervous system, and create meaningful change - while also fostering compassion, curiosity, and care for the parts of you that learned to survive. You don’t have to carry everything alone.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together we will spend some time going over important information like confidentiality and what you can expect from therapy so that you feel informed and at ease. From there you'll be invited to share what's been bringing you in and anything you feel is important about your life and experiences- at your own pace. I may ask some questions to better understand your background and current challenges. The goal of this first meeting is simply to start getting to know each other and create a foundation where you feel safe, heard, and respected.
