Great to meet you!

I have been working as a therapist for nearly a decade, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Currently, I work with individuals ages 16 and older and have specialized training and experience in working with men. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and specialize in addressing complex trauma, attachment concerns, and sexually problematic behaviors.

My approach to therapy

I like to approach counseling through a holistic lens based on the assumption of the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit. I believe that people sometimes create coping strategies that have been utilized for survival that are now obsolete. I also believe that we cannot survive in isolation. Through this I pay attention to the systemic nature of interpersonal relationships through family and key relationships and see how individuals are either empowered or powerless through them.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to provide a safe, private, and supportive space that fosters trust and open communication. Sessions are collaborative, with an emphasis on client involvement to encourage autonomy and self-agency. You can expect consistency and structure, along with practical tools and strategies to support meaningful growth and lasting change.
