Great to meet you!

I have a wide range of experiences that inform my practice. I understand about attachment, trauma, and sensory needs, and I approach your symptoms through a mind-body lens. My lifelong background in both art and advocacy helps me understand the world in a very "outside the box" way. I study practices like liberation psychology, participatory research, and mutual aid along with art poetry. I'm trained in traditional, evidence-based clincial therapy, and I keep up to date with current research.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in supporting neurodivergent adults, complex trauma, creative people, and those needing somewhere to talk about humanitarian and climate crises in the world. Sexual orientation, gender, race, disability, cultures, spiritualities, neurodiversity, and more are explored and affirmed here.

What you can expect from me

I want to know your story, and really understand what life is like in your shoes. I'll teach you whatever I can about the brain, nervous system responses, emotions, and how humans tend to experience these things. I like giving you learning materials between sessions, such as books, podcasts, videos, etc. If you're interested, we can try creative approaches like connecting with nature, art, music, sensory tools, or mindful movement.
