My personal philosophy of counseling revolves around the idea that you are the expert on yourself. Only you truly know what it is like to spend a day walking around in your shoes. Collaboration with clients is at the heart of my practice.
I believe that everyone is intrinsically worthy of healing and acceptance. As a therapist, it is my desire to walk alongside you and aid in making sense of your own story through compassion, empathy, and promoting hope.
My goal each session is for clients to leave feeling a bit lighter than when they arrived. Session outcomes vary depending on your needs and goals. You may leave our sessions with practical skills, exercises to try throughout the week, or having made sense of an issue you were experiencing.
