Great to meet you!

Fabiana Araujo is a Licensed Professional Counselor serving clients in Texas and Florida. She specializes in anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, and emotional and behavioral challenges in children, teens, and adults.

As a Certified Child-Centered Play Therapist and Educational Diagnostician, Fabiana provides a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where clients can build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful change. She offers therapy in English, Spanish, and Portuguese and is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges with confidence and hope.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all. While I am trained in several therapeutic approaches, I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). Together, we will identify the approach that best fits your needs, goals, and strengths. My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. After all, each person’s journey is unique, and therapy should honor that individuality.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity to begin sharing your story in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space. You can expect to talk about what you're experiencing, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from the process.

Therapy is your time—a place where you can be open about your thoughts, feelings, challenges, and needs at your own pace. Together, we will explore your concerns, identify goals, and begin developing tools and coping skills that support healing, growth, and emotional well-being.

Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or personal growth, the first session is the beginning of a collaborative journey toward greater understanding, resilience, and becoming the best version of yourself.
