Hello, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed in the state of Oregon.

My education began with an undergraduate (BA) Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New York University, (MA) Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Teachers’ College, Columbia University, (MSW) Master in Social Work from Hunter College, City University of New York. Adjunctive trainings, certifications and diploma programs included studies with (PPSC) Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center, and Dance/Movement Therapy post-graduate studies at the Harkness Center in NY; Mind-Body Somatic Therapy with the Embodied Philosophy online school, (IRF) Inner Relationship Focusing; and (CPT) Cognitive Processing Therapy.

I have an eclectic approach to therapy, stemming from 20+ years of study and practice experience, and encourage co-collaboration in the treatment setting. I implement trauma-informed, effective psychotherapy methods to enhance self-understanding, self-acceptance, self-awareness and growth. Together, we will work to create a safe, open, respectful space to embody new attitudes and feelings towards life situations.

Therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the patient and therapist alike. But in the end, making small changes to self-defeating behavior and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results.
