Great to meet you!

I am inspired by the emotional growth we learn from in life. Therapy is the experience of trusting another's insight in a safe space. My expertise is in family dynamics, queer issues, same-sex and hetero relationship abuse, suicidality, health conditions, depression, anxiety, aging/geriatric concerns, multiculturalism, borderline PD, and oppression. My twenty years in the healing profession has taught me the value of compassion to understand emotional pain and discovering the courage to change. I hope for the opportunity to be a healing part of your journey.

My approach to therapy

I draw from a wide range of modalities and tailor my therapeutic approach to meet your emotional needs. My preferences are psychodynamic, client-centered, humanistic, DBT and trauma focused approaches. The first few sessions are meant to get a better sense of who you are and how best I can help. This is an important time to get to know your therapist as well and ask questions to better understand their experience. I believe a positive therapeutic relationship is the feeling of a "good match."

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions with new a perspective of how to understand themselves.
