Great to meet you!
I know how overwhelming it can be to reach out for support, especially when it means facing some of the hardest moments of your life. If you're feeling unsure, I want you to know—you’re not alone. I’ve been there. I grew up in a home filled with generational trauma and dysfunction, and I had to do my own hard work to heal, set boundaries, and learn what healthy relationships look like. Because of that journey, I deeply understand how difficult, yet transformative, this process can be.
In therapy, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported. I go at your pace, meeting you exactly where you are. With patience, encouragement, and a focus on progress, we will work together toward the goals you set for yourself.
Professionally, I hold a Master's degree in Family Ministry, Clinical Counseling, and Family and Marriage Therapy from Hardin-Simmons University. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). My passion and expertise lie in trauma work, and I’ve had the opportunity to serve in private practice, in-home family support services, and even a detention center, helping individuals and families navigate deep wounds from neglect, abuse, and generational trauma. Currently, I also present on mental wellness, self-regulation, and emotional expression in schools across multiple counties.
But as much as I love educating groups, I truly miss the one-on-one connection—getting to know people on a deeper level and walking alongside them in their healing journey. That’s why I’d love to meet you.
Taking the first step is often the hardest, but you don’t have to commit to anything just yet. Let’s connect, talk, and see if we’re the right fit. At the very least, you’ll gain clarity on whether this is the right step for you—or if a different approach might better serve your needs. Either way, you’re not alone in this.
Let’s take this step together.
