Great to meet you!
Hi and thanks for your interest! After college, I moved to the northern Rockies and began my first career as a professional mountain and river guide. Following a decade of adventures across Montana, British Columbia and Alberta, - and one too many nights spent shivering - I moved to NYC and began graduate studies at The Columbia University School of Social Work, ultimately earning a Master of Science in Advanced Clinical Practice. Thereafter, a longing to be closer to family and the mountains of my childhood resulted in a move to western NC. Nearly 20 years of effective work with adolescents, young adults, parents and families since, I've been fortunate to find my calling as a psychotherapist. I offer in-person and telehealth sessions for teens and young adults (and their parents) struggling with ADHD, ODD, anxiety, depression, identity issues, screen overuse, failure-to-launch and relational difficulties, among others. Client-centered and strengths-based, I offer treatment grounded in the best evidence and latest research.
