Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I received my training from the University of North Texas at Dallas. Currently I work in private practice, seeing patients in person in my Kyle office, and virtually across Texas.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My style is collaborative, yet non-directive. Rooted in depth psychology (Jungian + psychoanalytic), I see the primary aim of psychotherapy as to make the unconscious conscious. This can happen through exploring the patient's dreams, wishes, and free associations, as well understanding how unconscious patterns play out in relationships (whether between client and others or within the therapy relationship).

What you can expect from our first session

My hope is to help generate a increased since of purpose and meaning in your life. Understanding ourselves more deeply is a primary objective of psychotherapy. This often looks like taking a deep dive into the client's family of origin. Through our work I hope that you can come to a deep, richer, more complex understanding of all the facets that make you who you are.
