Great to meet you!

If you're struggling with OCD, you've probably already spent countless hours trying to think your way out of it. Maybe you've researched endlessly, sought reassurance from people you trust, avoided situations that trigger anxiety, checked repeatedly, analyzed every possible outcome, or performed rituals that provide temporary relief. The problem is that OCD always wants more. What starts as an attempt to feel certain, safe, or in control often becomes a cycle that takes over more and more of your life.

My practice offers specialized treatment for OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder. Unlike traditional talk therapy, ERP is an active, structured approach designed to help you break free from the obsessive-compulsive cycle and reclaim your life from OCD's demands.

My approach to therapy

I work with a wide range of OCD presentations, including contamination fears, harm OCD, relationship OCD (ROCD), scrupulosity, sexual orientation OCD, existential OCD, health anxiety, checking behaviors, intrusive thoughts, mental compulsions, and reassurance-seeking patterns. Whether your OCD feels loud and obvious or largely invisible to others, the treatment approach remains the same: helping you face uncertainty rather than feeding the cycle.

My style is warm, collaborative, direct, and genuine. I'm not interested in sitting silently while OCD continues to run the show. Together, we'll develop a clear treatment plan, identify the patterns keeping you stuck, and gradually build your ability to tolerate uncertainty without relying on compulsions for relief.

What you can expect from me

I've been a licensed therapist for more than 16 years and bring both professional training and personal understanding to the work I do. Clients often tell me they appreciate that I'm approachable, down-to-earth, and willing to explain not just what we're doing, but why we're doing it.

In our first session, we'll begin building a shared understanding of how OCD operates in your life, identify the compulsions and avoidance patterns that maintain it, and discuss what treatment will look like. By the end of our conversation, you'll have a clear sense of whether ERP is the right fit and what the path forward may look like.
