Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care across the lifespan. My advanced education and clinical training have prepared me to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions in children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I take a holistic approach that considers each client’s biological, psychological, and social needs. With a strong nursing foundation and advanced practice expertise, I am committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach with clients is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered. I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment planning. I integrate evidence-based practice with a holistic perspective, considering emotional, physical, social, and environmental factors that impact mental health. I prioritize building strong therapeutic relationships, promoting education and insight, and empowering clients to develop practical skills that support long-term wellness and resilience.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment focused on getting to know them as a whole person. We will review your concerns, symptoms, mental health history, medical background, current medications, and any relevant life experiences to gain a comprehensive understanding of your needs. I will ask thoughtful questions to better understand your goals and what you hope to achieve in treatment. Together, we will begin developing a personalized plan of care, which may include therapy, medication management, lifestyle strategies, or a combination of approaches. There will also be time for you to ask questions so you feel informed, comfortable, and confident moving forward.
