Great to meet you!

As the founder of NP Counseling, I offer individual and family therapy both in-person and via telehealth. I received my Master’s of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in FL in 2011. As a Child-Parent Psychotherapy rostered therapist, I have extensive training in Child-Centered Play Therapy, Infant Mental Health, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, art therapy, and family therapy modalities.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Play Therapist, I bring a compassionate, trauma informed, and holistic approach in helping children and families create strong and healthy foundations for a lifetime well-being. I work with all ages of children and support them through a number of challenges including attachment issues, trauma, grief and loss, abuse, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and sensory processing challenges, as well as other social-emotional and behavioral difficulties.

What you can expect from me

It is crucial for me to make children and families I work with, always feel heard, validated and empowered through challenges they face. It is always my goal to support parents through their parenting challenges and provide a life-long nurture and support for their children as therapy is and should be short-term.
