Great to meet you!

I'm so happy you're here! I know how much courage it takes to reach out for support.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience working on a college counseling center. During my time there I worked on interdisciplinary teams, with a focus on supporting folks experiencing eating disorders and supporting survivors of interpersonal violence. I still love working with young adults and supporting them in exploring who they are and what they value. It can be tough to learn how to care for yourself in a world that often asks you to do everything but slow down and listen inward.

My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and connection. I became a therapist because I believe in our capacity to heal and to rewrite the stories that have been shaped by trauma, rupture, and oppressive systems. I bring my whole self to this work. My experiences as a queer person, an immigrant, and as a native Spanish speaker who understands the importance of language and culture in healing all deeply shape how I show up as a therapist.

I work with individual adults navigating trauma recovery, relationship challenges, body image concerns, and eating disorders. I also support clients exploring identity and questions of belonging or purpose.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in both the body and connection. I draw from somatic practices and trauma-informed yoga to help clients reconnect with their bodies and find safety and self-trust.

I see therapy as a space we co-create, rooted in mutual respect and care. I bring an anti-oppressive and feminist lens to my work, understanding that the pain we carry is often shaped by the systems and stories around us. In our work, we will gently explore the patterns and beliefs that may have helped you survive but are no longer serving you, creating room for compassion and new ways of being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to begin building trust and understanding. We will talk about what brings you to therapy and what kind of support feels right for you. I will also share more about my approach and invite any questions you have.

There is no rush to share everything at once. You set the pace. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling seen and grounded in the possibility that healing can happen here.
