Dr. Ritu Chandak

I am Board Certified psychiatrist with more than 20 years of experience in treating whole spectrum of emotional and mental health conditions. I have been the Chair of department at Jersey City Medical Center for 15 years and have been a mentor to early career psychiatrists, nurse practitioners. I am also a clinical instructor of Rutgers psychiatry residents.

I take a holistic view of the needs of my client and recognize that a combination of medication management, psychotherapy, stress management, and lifestyle modification might achieve a sustained, most optimal outcome for them.

My goal is to provide my patients non judgemental, caring and welcoming environment.
