Great to meet you!

I'm a country girl at heart and while I'm from Mississippi, Florida has always felt like home to me. I am most at peace in my swing outside with my family or in time spent with God. I am a graduate of Mississippi State University where I received my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I spent the next decade working with students as a school counselor and mental health counselor. I then moved into a Christian private practice to have the ability to help clients on a spiritual level.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered and spiritually driven. I am solution-focused, striving to assist clients with finding success in difficult areas. I am also an EMDRIA-approved EMDR therapist, using this strategy as appropriate.

What you can expect from me

Clients of all ages can expect a warm welcome and place to find rest at Cove Christian Counseling. A cove is defined as a small, safe shelter and my goal is to give clients a space to find refuge from the storms of life. Together, we will establish sustainable goals with a purpose. I am also willing to pray with any client, offer applicable scriptures from The Bible and give resources appropriate to their circumstances.
