Great to meet you!

No matter who we are or where we come from, we all deserve to live happy and fulfilling lives. Life is hard and can present us with emotional challenges we’re not sure how to process. The first step is asking for help. If you're going through the adoption process, are an adoptee (youth or adult), experiencing relationship issues (monogamous and non-monogamous), are of a marginalized community, or have a special needs child in the family, I'd love to help you process through the complex feelings that accompany your unique intersection of identities.

My approach to therapy

I take an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs, experiences, and goals. My clinical practice incorporates psychoeducation, helping clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences. I also emphasize the mind-body connection, recognizing the important role that physical and emotional well-being play in the healing process. Depending on your needs, I balance both directive and non-directive therapeutic approaches, providing guidance and practical tools when appropriate while also creating space for reflection, exploration, and self-discovery. My goal is to support you in developing greater insight, resilience, and lasting change in a way that feels collaborative and personalized.

What you can expect from me

I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey and help you recognize and build upon the strengths you already possess. I believe healing happens through connection, compassion, and feeling truly seen for who you are. As your therapist, you can expect to be met with respect, empathy, and genuine curiosity as we work together toward your goals. I honor the many intersections of your identity and the unique experiences that have shaped your story. You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone—I see you, I value your experiences, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
