Great to meet you!

Working with me:

I’m really glad you’re here. As a trauma survivor, I understand how deeply our past can affect how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world. Healing from within is absolutely possible.

In therapy, we slow down and listen inward. We explore emotions and protective parts with curiosity, including how they show up in the body and nervous system. As inner trust grows, challenges can be met with more grounding, presence, and supportive connection to your Self.

I specialize in supporting people who have experienced trauma, emotional neglect, perfectionism, or deep sensitivity and want to feel more at home within themselves. Many of my clients struggle with self-criticism, overwhelming emotions, or patterns that once protected them but no longer feel helpful. Together, we gently develop a steadier, more compassionate relationship with yourself from the inside out.

Common concerns I support:

• Trauma / PTSD — IFS and Brainspotting help access parts holding trauma and unprocessed emotional pain, supporting regulation and inner safety over time.

• Self-esteem — We nurture relationships with parts carrying shame or perfectionism, building inner validation, empowerment, and emotional flexibility.

• Relationship challenges — We explore attachment wounds and relational patterns, increasing curiosity, communication skills, and authentic connection.

My background & approach:

• MA in Counseling Psychology (CU Denver, 2015)

• 10 years of experience, including community mental health

• Level 1 trained in IFS; completed IFS Online Circle

• Brainspotting Phases 1 & 2 trained

My approach to therapy

My Approach to Therapy:

My work is rooted in trauma-focused, attachment-oriented therapy. I draw from Internal Family Systems (parts-work), Brainspotting, and body-based approaches that support nervous system regulation and emotional healing. Together, we explore what’s happening beneath patterns of protection, both emotionally and physiologically, at a pace that respects your nervous system’s capacity. We get curious about the parts of you that hold overwhelming feelings or past burdens, and the parts that work tirelessly to keep life moving. As these experiences are met with compassion rather than pressure to change, many people begin to feel more clarity, steadiness, and trust in themselves.

For those navigating trauma, emotional neglect, perfectionism, or deep sensitivity, therapy offers a space to reconnect with your inner world in a supportive and collaborative way. Healing becomes less about trying to “fix” what feels wrong and more about reconnecting with the wisdom, resilience, and self-compassion already within you.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)- I am Level 1 trained in IFS, which helps us understand the inner parts that carry pain, beliefs, or protective strategies. By building caring relationships with these parts, clients often feel more empowered, compassionate, and connected to their inner guidance.

Brainspotting- I am trained in Brainspotting Phases 1 and 2, a mindfulness and body-focused approach that uses eye positions to access parts of the brain where trauma and overwhelming emotions are stored. With gentle focus and support from the body, processing unfolds in a grounded way, reducing distress and allowing space for new emotional responses.

My approach is collaborative and responsive. We move at your pace, honor your lived experience, and trust that healing deepens when we listen to what the mind and body are already trying to communicate.

What you can expect from me

My values:

Therapy is a collaborative process rooted in honesty, curiosity, and care. I identify as a white woman and stay mindful of how my identities may show up in our work. I welcome feedback with humility and am committed to culturally responsive and LGBTQIA+ affirming care. You are the expert of your own inner world, and I am here to support healing with compassion, respect, and integrity.

What to expect in our work together:

Growth can feel uncomfortable, and therapy often involves facing emotions we’ve learned to avoid. I take a gentle, trauma-informed approach, helping clients notice what arises, process difficult feelings, and respond with self-compassion and intention. The focus is on understanding yourself in the context of your inner world, relationships, and values, rather than just “fixing” what feels wrong. Before our first session, you’ll complete an intake questionnaire to share your history and current concerns. Our first meeting is a chance to connect, ask questions, and clarify your goals for therapy. We’ll move at a pace that feels supportive, and may gently begin exploring your inner world if it feels right.

I offer in-person sessions from my office in City Park West, including walk-and-talk sessions, as well as telehealth appointments. I am in-network with most major insurance plans through Headway or Alma, and I can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. Above all, my priority is that you feel heard, respected, and supported in a space where you can begin to build trust with yourself and your own capacity for healing.
