Great to meet you!

Hi and welcome! I have been providing therapy and testing since 2012 and have been independently licensed since 2017. I am considered a generalist, meaning I treat a wide variety of problems using several techniques. For therapy, I work with children ages 10 (ish) through adulthood; sometimes children as young as 8 are good candidates for activity therapy with me, depending on their specific needs and presenting problems. For testing, I work with children as young as 3 through late adulthood.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach to therapy, pulling techniques from Emotion-Focused and Interpersonal theories, among others. I particularly enjoy working with tweens and teens, and my specific areas of interest include working through interpersonal difficulties and helping patients identify, adaptively express, and deal with strong emotions. I also enjoy psychological testing/assessment for a wide range of concerns, including a special focus in neurodevelopmental diagnoses like autism and ADHD.

What you can expect from me

Therapy tends to be a balance between reducing symptoms that are disrupting daily life using coping and emotional regulation skills, and identifying and processing the factors that caused the distress to develop in the first place. I strive to provide attuned and dedicated attention. Clients can expect to feel validated and empowered in the treatment process, to be informed about the goals/direction of treatment, and to receive the support and tools needed to reach therapeutic/testing goals.
