Great to meet you!

I am a supportive, non-judgmental therapist that realizes how hard it is to ask for help. Together we will identify issues you want to work on, recognizing & building on your strengths & uniqueness. We will find solutions that work for you. I have worked with clients with a variety of issues including persistent worry & anxiety, debilitating trauma, religious deconstruction, and grief & loss. I also have extensive training & experience working with teenagers & adults within the LGBTQIA+ community (including their loved ones).

I have received comprehensive training in various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment-focused therapy, trauma-focused therapy CBT and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This diverse range of training allows me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

My approach to therapy

Together, we’ll identify triggers, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and build healthier coping strategies that reduce overwhelm and increase emotional regulation. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and empowering. You can expect a balance of validation and gentle challenge as we work toward meaningful, sustainable change that improves your relationships, daily functioning, and overall life satisfaction.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll focus on understanding what brought you to therapy and what symptoms or challenges are most affecting your life. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, low mood, trauma-related stress, relationship conflict, or difficulty managing overwhelming emotions, this is your space to share openly and honestly.

We will begin identifying your goals and outlining a personalized treatment plan that feels realistic and aligned with your needs. My intention is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the direction of our work together.
