Great to meet you!

I bring more than 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. I received my Master of Social Welfare from UCLA, and my work in group homes, schools, and community-based nonprofits has shaped my understanding of how emotional, academic, cultural, and environmental factors influence well-being.

I specialize in working with Latino and bilingual families, and I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, respected, and understood.

My approach to therapy

My approach integrates CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, and Narrative Therapy, and I’m committed to meeting clients where they are. I believe healing happens when we honor lived experiences, cultural identity, and family values.

I’m someone who values connection, authenticity, and compassion. I aim to bring these qualities into every session so clients feel safe, supported, and empowered in their growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive space where we begin getting to know each other. I’ll ask about what brought you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you’d like to focus on. We’ll also review your history, cultural background, and important experiences or values that shape who you are.

I take time to explain my approach, answer questions, and make sure you feel comfortable with the process. The first session isn’t about diving into everything at once, it’s about building trust, understanding your needs, and creating a plan together that feels manageable. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and confident about our work moving forward.
