Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where you or your child can show up as you are. I’m a licensed therapist who works with children, adolescents, and families, helping clients find hope, healing, and strength as they navigate life’s challenges.

I have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, trauma, emotional and behavioral concerns, and life transitions. I also have specialized training working with young children and families, including the birth-to-five population.

I use evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and play therapy to support emotional regulation, build coping skills, and process difficult experiences. My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel understood and supported as they work toward meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I focus on meeting clients where they are and tailoring treatment to their unique needs, goals, and developmental level.

I draw from modalities including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support emotional awareness, regulation, and processing of past experiences. My work is also informed by trauma-focused and attachment-based approaches, supporting deeper and lasting healing.

When working with children, I incorporate play-based and experiential techniques to support engagement and expression in a natural and comfortable way. I also involve caregivers when appropriate to help reinforce skills and support consistency outside of sessions.

Throughout the process, I prioritize creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, which supports deeper exploration and meaningful progress.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and low-pressure environment. I prioritize creating a space where you or your child feel comfortable, respected, and able to show up as you are.

The session will focus on getting to know you (or your child), understanding what brings you to therapy, and identifying initial goals at a pace that feels comfortable. We will review current concerns, relevant background information, and what you hope to gain from therapy.

For younger clients, I often incorporate play or activity-based engagement to help them feel at ease. Caregivers are included as appropriate to provide context and support.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of the therapy process, initial goals, and how we will work together moving forward. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and comfortable continuing the process.
