I have a masters in social work and value collaboration, integrative approaches, and exploring how systems in your life have impacted your daily functioning. I specialize in grief, trauma, anxiety, and working with the LGBTQIA+ population. I have specialized training in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), all body-based approaches that support healing from trauma, nervous system regulation, and deeper emotional processing.
My approach draws on somatic approaches including EMDR and Internal Family Systems to help you explore protective mechanisms while reconnecting with your body and your sense of self.
For our first session, you can expect a space of exploring what brought you in, how it is impacting your daily life, and collaborate on what will work best for you. In our work together, we'll focus on creating a safe, trusting, open relationship with each other. I work from a compassionate, anti-oppressive, and evidence-based approach, recognizing that you are the expert in your own experience.
