Hi there, I'm Karina. Following attaining my master's degree from the University of Denver, I worked at agencies specializing in trauma, women's issues, and addiction. This experience helped shape my perspective on the human condition and the ways we are all connected.
My style leans heavily on attachment style (interpersonal therapy), emotional identification, and meaning making (narrative therapy). It is my goals to help clients connect with themselves and feel empowered.
The environment I aim to cultivate is one of warmth and openness, where my clients are free to take risks and be vulnerable. I hope to promote acceptance of all parts of ourselves- especially the parts that are more difficult for us to love.
