Great to meet you!

In the ten years since graduating from Loyola Marymount University with my MA in Marital and Family Therapy, I have acquired a wide range of experiences that aid in my ability to support clients in various walks of life. I have worked with adolescents at an outpatient treatment center, and currently work with adults in an outpatient treatment center who are being treated for addiction, trauma, depression and anxiety. I have undergone trainings in Trauma (The Body Keeps the Score, and Trauma informed CBT), grief, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is an opportunity for us to be compassionately curious about ourselves, our patterns and our past. I approach therapy as conversational and comfortable, meaning I won't be sitting silently jotting things down in a notebook. I'm here to offer reflections, inquires, and insights that bring you closer to understanding where you might be feeling stuck and how we can support you to find a new way of being. My sessions often include moments of laughter and lightness as I know how heavy it can feel to share intimate parts of ourselves with someone new.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave a session with a deeper sense of compassion and understanding for themselves and where they are in this moment. Client's will be provided tools and interventions to utilize outside of sessions that are catered to their specific needs and goals. My primary goal is to have a client leave feeling empowered and connected to their resilient nature.
