Kimberly holds a master's in nursing science from UConn and post-master's APRN in psychiatry from University of St Joseph. Early in life, Kimberly knew she wanted to work in psychiatry. While working as an emergency room RN for twelve years, she observed patients suffering from mental illness and wanted to do more. As a board certified psychiatric APRN, Kimberly uses evidence-based standards. She gained her expertise from eleven years of practice with a diverse population, children to seniors.

My approach to therapy

Kimberly's approach to treatment is built on empathy and transparency toward developing a therapeutic rapport by actively listening to clients' needs with an open mind. Kimberly believes in a holistic mind-body approach and her years of experience in a trauma level ER give her a unique perspective to clients' needs. Kimberly believes that when her clients succeed, everyone succeeds.

Clients will experience a therapeutic environment that is compassionate, empathetic and safe. Kimberly will offer insights and advice using evidence-based practice to diagnose and recommend the best medication treatment for one's particular problem that are effective and safe. Clients will feel a sense of relief, support and understanding in a non-judgmental manner.
