Great to meet you!

I completed my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at National Louis University in Chicago, Illinois. I have worked in a variety of settings including the Emergency Room, a Partial Hospitalization Program, and in community mental health.

I work with adults & adolescents on concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, mood & personality disorders, gender identity & sexual orientation challenges, confidence/self-esteem, trauma, grief/loss, & substance/alcohol abuse.

My approach to therapy

I incorporate evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with a focus on maladaptive attachment, helping clients to uncover and clear negative beliefs developed from memories and previous traumatic experiences.

What you can expect from me

Reaching out for help is hard, but continuing the emotional suffering is even harder. My clients have described me as approachable, compassionate, & non-judgmental. My goal is to help you explore & process unhealthy patterns of thinking and behavior while learning new healthy ways to regulate your emotions, communicate with others, & to stand firm in your decision-making.
