Great to meet you!

Hi all! I'm MJ, a strengths-based therapist specializing in OCD and exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy, ADHD coaching, and LGBTQ+ identities. I believe that all individuals have the ability to find change and empowerment in their lives. Sometimes we just need some assistance and a new perspective to get there. My focus is on learning to be gentle with yourself in a way that empowers you to feel unstuck and assists you to heal.

My approach to therapy

I bring compassion and honesty (and hopefully some humor) into our working relationship and will offer gentle guidance in helping you find new ways to cope and move forward. My focus is on learning to be gentle with yourself in a way that empowers you to feel unstuck and assists you to heal. I help clients move through previous traumas, anxieties, and negative self-beliefs - coming from a place of support without judgement.

What you can expect from me

I help my clients find new coping skills that they can build into their lives. During sessions we will work together to set feasible goals that you want to work on for the upcoming weeks. I want my clients to feel empowered in the skills that we work on together. Our shared time is focused on your concerns and needs. I believe that all individuals have a capacity for change and I thank you for allowing me to walk on this journey with you.
