Great to meet you!

As a LPC, MHSP, I support individuals, couples, and families through a holistic, collaborative, and integrative approach to healing. I specialize in addressing relational challenges, trauma, mood, and anxiety disorders. My practice is built on fostering deeply connected, authentic relationships with my clients, drawing on shared human experiences and the existential struggles we all navigate to create a space of trust and transformation.

My work is guided by a belief that gratitude, meaning, and purpose can illuminate our path through life’s challenges. As a certified hypnotherapist, I incorporate powerful techniques to unlock subconscious potential, helping clients release limiting beliefs and embrace new possibilities. I blend this with evidence-based practices from Positive Psychology, Gestalt Therapy, and Existential Therapy to enhance self-awareness, shift unhelpful habits, and cultivate supportive relational dynamics. Together, we explore insights that spark meaningful change, empowering you to relate to yourself and others with greater resilience and clarity.

I am passionate about the potential for healing and growth within us all. I hold a BA in Communication from Middle Tennessee State University and a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands. As a certified hypnotherapist, I bring an additional layer of depth to our work, offering tools to detox our unconscious mind, deal with past trauma, and build strength. I look forward to partnering with you toward a more purposeful, connected life.

My approach to therapy

At Peak Mind Mental Health, my approach to therapy is rooted in transformative, client-centered care that addresses the underlying causes of distress rather than just symptoms. Drawing from evidence-based methods like Internal Family Systems (IFS) and mindfulness-based techniques, I integrate innovative hypnotherapy to help clients access subconscious resources for healing. This includes guided imagery, vagus nerve stimulation exercises, and custom audio recordings to foster nervous system regulation and emotional resilience.

I specialize in working with adults facing anxiety, stress, trauma, and performance blocks, as well as couples and families navigating conflict and connection. Sessions emphasize a judgment-free space where clients build self-trust, clarity, and purpose—often weaving in existential insights to explore meaning and growth. Whether through individual exploration or relational dialogue, my goal is to empower you to feel calm, connected, and in control.

If this resonates, let's collaborate on your journey toward lasting change.

What you can expect from me

For Individual Clients

A warm welcome and brief overview of how we’ll work together.

Time to share what brings you in—your goals, challenges, and any history you’d like to include.

A gentle assessment of patterns (emotional, physical, relational) to understand the root of what’s keeping you stuck.

An introduction to practical tools you can use right away (e.g., a short breathing exercise or simple mindfulness practice).

If it feels right, a brief experience of guided relaxation or light hypnotherapy to show how we access inner resources (always with your full consent and control).

Clear next steps and homework tailored to your needs—often a custom audio recording for home use.

You’ll leave with greater clarity, a sense of relief, and at least one tool to start feeling calmer and more in control.

For Couples

You can expect:

A structured yet warm beginning where each partner has uninterrupted time to share their experience and hopes for therapy.

Guidance to slow down reactive patterns and practice new ways of listening and speaking (often using brief, practical exercises).

An exploration of the cycle that keeps you stuck, with compassion for both sides.

Identification of strengths in your relationship to build on.

Clear agreements for between-session practice and a simple tool or short audio to reinforce connection at home.

You’ll leave feeling heard by each other (often for the first time in a while), with hope and a concrete plan to reduce conflict and rebuild closeness.

In both individual and couples sessions, confidentiality, respect, and pacing to your comfort level are priorities.
