Tamara is a licensed clinical social worker/psychotherapist and ADHD/autism specialist who provides autism evaluations as well as individual, family, and group counseling for ages 12 months to adults. Tamara specializes in helping individuals and families affected by autism, Asperger’s, ADHD, neurodivergence, sensory processing disorders, anxiety, depression, problems focusing, difficulty regulating emotions, aggression, social anxiety, school/work avoidance, meltdowns, and shutting down.

My approach to therapy

Tamara can provide you with a customized approach to help with overcoming, not only the immediate challenges of today, but to begin thriving for the future. She offers a unique perspective as a clinical social worker/psychotherapist and as a parent who raised 2 children with ADHD & autism who are today, an engineer & a college student.

What you can expect from me

Family counseling offers in-session parent coaching proven to help children and teens make positive choices to avoid negative consequences. Separate parenting appointments are available. Groups are for ages 5 to young adults. All sessions offer skills for regulating emotions, tolerating difficult situations, and changing negative thought patterns. In-person parenting groups are available for parents caring for children of all ages, including adult children with autism or neurodivergence.
