Great to meet you!
Meet Chris, a compassionate and highly skilled Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. With a Clinical Mental Health Degree from Messiah University in Mechanicsburg, PA, he helps individuals, couples, and families overcome life’s challenges.
Before becoming a counselor, Chris served as a non-profit specialist worldwide, giving him a unique perspective on cultures and human experiences. He also has a theological background for those seeking a faith-based approach.
Chris works with clients 16 and older while seeing a limited number of younger clients. His specialties include depression, anxiety, trauma, marital and family issues, and adjustment disorders.
In his counseling, Chris primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. He often integrates person-centered, family systems, or feminist approaches to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
Outside of counseling, Chris enjoys traveling with his family and has visited over 75 countries across four continents. He values the lessons gained from experiencing new cultures and people. On nice days, you’ll likely find him outdoors walking or kayaking local rivers.
Chris is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients can grow, heal, and pursue lasting positive change.
