Great to meet you!

Looking for a therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when you're already struggling. My goal is to make therapy a place where you can show up as you are—without judgment, without pressure to have it all figured out, and with the confidence that someone is in your corner.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience helping adults navigate ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the everyday stress that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or stuck.

Over the years, I've learned that while everyone's story is different, most people are simply looking for a place where they feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and straightforward. I believe in meeting you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be. I use a person-centered, strengths-based approach and incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with other techniques that fit your individual needs. Therapy isn't about being told what to do—it's about gaining insight, learning practical tools, and building confidence to handle life's challenges in a healthier way.

Clients often appreciate that I'm genuine, easy to talk to, and willing to ask the hard questions when needed. I'll support you with empathy and compassion, but I'll also encourage you to be honest with yourself and stay accountable to the goals you've set. Growth isn't always easy, but you don't have to do it alone.

Whether you're managing symptoms that have been affecting your daily life or simply feeling like something isn't working anymore, therapy can help. If you're ready to better understand yourself, strengthen your coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change, I'd be honored to be part of that journey with you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I'll also ask about your personal history, relationships, and any previous experience with therapy so I can better understand the whole picture.

My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and respected. There's no pressure to share everything at once—we'll move at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we'll begin identifying your strengths, discuss your goals, and develop a plan that's tailored to your needs.

I encourage questions throughout the session because I believe therapy works best when it feels like a collaborative partnership. By the end of our first meeting, you'll have a better sense of my approach, and we'll decide together on the next steps toward helping you feel better and reach your goals.
