Hayley Nemeth

I was raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and studied at the University of Maryland in College Park, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Portuguese Languages and Literature, with a minor in Women's Studies. I spent a year and half in Costa Rica studying abroad, learning the language and culture, and taking art classes. I felt a passion for helping others, which eventually landed me in Wilmington to obtain my Master of Social Work degree at UNCW, graduating in 2010.

I take a client-centered approach to therapy, which means there is no one-size-fits-all model that works for everyone. I access my knowledge and experience to tailor an eclectic plan to meet your individual needs and to help you accomplish your personal goals for therapy. I include you in this process offering choices and welcoming feedback. Therapy oftentimes is hard work; I understand that, and I want to help you overcome any barriers or obstacles that may be hindering your process.

I strive to create a warm, relaxed, grounded, safe space for my clients. I hope my client's feel empowered after therapy, realizing their strengths and ability to achieve their ideal vision for themself as they move forward.
