Hello, want to work together on a path to Clarity in 2026? I provide ADHD Support in North Carolina
I provide support to NC residents through telehealth or in-person visits at our Pittsboro office in the Chatham Wellness Collective. (south of Chapel Hill)
A Streamlined Approach to ADHD Care. Navigating the ADHD assessment and treatment process can be frustrating and expensive. Many individuals face delays, expensive testing fees, and additional requirements, such as a psychological evaluation and/or a doctor’s note or EKG, just to receive care. Others are seen by telehealth only providers who can't prescribe stimulants and who tell you one has to start off on Wellbutrin or Strattera (non stimulants). That is terrible care. At our clinic, we prioritize efficiency and accessibility.
We believe in low doses of medication and finding your perfect dose to balance attention with mood. Most of our ADHD patients are on low dosing.
My approach to treatment is collaborative, forward-thinking, and tailored to your unique needs. I strive to create a warm, inviting atmosphere where you can feel comfortable discussing your challenges.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding psychiatrists in Burlington starts with knowing what kind of mental health care you need. Psychiatrists and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners can diagnose conditions and prescribe medication, while therapists focus on talk therapy. Medication management usually includes an evaluation, follow-up visits, and ongoing review of how your care plan fits your needs. If you are looking for support with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, or obsessive-compulsive disorder, review each psychiatrist’s listed specialties and background to see whether their training matches what you want to address.
Burlington is a smaller market, so local psychiatry appointments may be more limited than in larger North Carolina cities. Virtual appointments can expand your options while still keeping care covered through your plan when your benefits apply. Psychiatric visits for medication management are often shorter and less frequent than therapy sessions, and some psychiatrists also offer therapy. Some people work with both a therapist and a prescriber. As you compare options, look at appointment availability, whether the psychiatrist is accepting new patients, and what their bio says about communication style, session structure, and areas of focus.
Psychiatric care in Burlington can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and see your estimated out-of-pocket cost before you book. Headway helps you find psychiatrists who match your preferences, verify coverage for your plan, and book directly with someone accepting new patients. Browse profiles, compare fit, and schedule when you are ready.
If you're already taking psychiatric medication and considering switching providers, talk to your current prescriber before changing or stopping any medication — most psychiatric medications shouldn't be stopped abruptly. Anyone experiencing thoughts of self-harm or in acute crisis should call 988 or go to the nearest emergency department rather than wait for an outpatient appointment.
